- As requested by WHO, contribute to the evaluation of the effort for the implementation of human fascioliasis control , including the capacity of fasciolids to develop resistance to triclabendazole
- As requested by WHO, support the effort of collecting evidence to ascertain human fascioliasis epidemiology including the role of drinking of contaminated water in the transmission of fascioliasis
- As requested by WHO, assist in clarifying areas of transmission and involvement of new lymnaeid vectors
