- At PAHO/WHO’s request and under its leadership, the proposed institution will provide support to PAHO/WHO to address the economic and social determinants of health through the development of actions directed at populations in situations of vulnerability to promote equity and sustainable development.
- In agreement with PAHO/WHO, the proposed institution will support as and when appropriate PAHO/WHO’s efforts in strengthening the evidence of the effectiveness of health promotion interventions and the implementation of intersectoral policies
- At PAHO/WHO’s request and under its leadership, the proposed institution will collaborate with other WHO Collaborating Centers to strengthen Regional Networks (Regional Healthy Municipalities, Cities and Communities Network (HMC) and develop the Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR) )
