- Upon WHO’s request, support WHO’s work for the establishment of international standards and reference panels, meeting WHO priorities, and developing and optimizing laboratory methods and assays.
- Under WHO’s leadership, assist WHO in the development of written standards.
- Support WHO in strengthening capacity building in quality assurance of blood products and in vitro diagnostic devices.
- Upon WHO’s request, assist WHO by conducting the assessment of blood regulation using Global Benchmarking Tool (GBT) plus Blood and Good Production Practices (GPP) implementation.
