  1. At PAHO/WHO’s request the proposed institution will support the Organization’s work in strengthening capacity in the field of environmental health. 
  2. Under PAHO/WHO’s guidance and direction the proposed institution will provide technical input to the Organization to inform epidemiological research on air pollution and climate change. 
  3. At the request of PAHO/WHO, the proposed institution will support PAHO/WHO to develop methodologies and training for health impact assessment in the field of environmental health.
