- At WHO’s request, to support WHO in strengthening of traditional and complementary medicine (T&CM) practitioners in Member States by providing specialized training courses on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), with a focus on primary health care
- At WHO’s request, to support WHO on raising awareness about the benefits, risks and appropriate use of T&CM in line with WHO’s recommendations and guidance.
- At WHO’s request, to support WHO in strengthening research to generate evidence for T&CM safety and effectiveness, and in informing its work towards developing T&CM integration models.
