Terms of Reference:
  1. At PAHO/WHO's request the proposed institution will support PAHO/WHO’s capacity building activities towards strengthening regional and global AMR surveillance priorities, and provide scientific and technical input on bacteriology, through antimicrobial susceptibility testing, quality assurance, laboratory assessments and AMR genomic. 
  2. At PAHO/WHO’s request the proposed institution will provide PAHO/WHO with scientific and technical support to inform its work on Mycology, through antimicrobial susceptibility testing, quality assurance, laboratory assessments and AMR genomic. These activities will support PAHO/WHO’s capacity building activities towards strengthening regional and global AMR surveillance priorities, including in the context of RELAVRA+ and GLASS. 
  3. At PAHO/WHO’s request the proposed institution will provide PAHO/WHO with technical support and input to inform its work on proteomic platforms for bacterial and mycotic pathogens including those with AMR, and genomic and epidemiological surveillance of foodborne bacteria. 
  4. At PAHO/WHO’s request the proposed institution will provide PAHO/WHO with technical assistance by facilitating reference laboratory services and training on antimicrobial susceptibility of Neisseria gonorrhoeae, resistance mechanisms, quality assurance surveillance, and AMR genomic.
