  2. To assist WHO in mapping the current situation about breastfeeding in Europe and identify gaps. 
  3. To support WHO in the assessment of the adequacy of the dietary intake of the general population or targeted groups and the diet/disease associated determinants when requested by member states. 
  4. To summarize the evidence for WHO on the impact of diet and physical activity on healthy ageing 
  5. To provide training/capacity building of health professionals on nutrition and noncommunicable disease risk factors when requested by WHO and member states 
  6. To summarize the evidence for WHO on the role of the Mediterranean dietary patterns in the prevention of NCDs
