Terms of Reference:
- To provide technical support to WHO’s work towards strengthening laboratory capacity in-line with the WHO’s Asia Pacific Strategy for Emerging Diseases and Public Health Emergencies (APSED III) through capacity building activities.
- As requested by WHO, to assist in the conduct of investigations of leptospirosis outbreaks in selected Member States.
- To support WHO in strengthening capacity for surveillance of leptospirosis through the collection and analysis of data as recommended by APSED III.
- To provide Leptospira sequence data to support WHO’s work towards the development of the Emerging Molecular Pathogen Characterisation Technology Surveillance Network
