Terms of Reference:
  1. To provide technical support to WHO’s work towards strengthening laboratory capacity in-line with the WHO’s Asia Pacific Strategy for Emerging Diseases and Public Health Emergencies (APSED III) through capacity building activities. 
  2. As requested by WHO, to assist in the conduct of investigations of leptospirosis outbreaks in selected Member States. 
  3. To support WHO in strengthening capacity for surveillance of leptospirosis through the collection and analysis of data as recommended by APSED III. 
  4. To provide Leptospira sequence data to support WHO’s work towards the development of the Emerging Molecular Pathogen Characterisation Technology Surveillance Network
