Terms of Reference:
- Contribute, by providing expertise and other resource, to development/revision of norms and standards (WHO Guidelines) in the area of clinical management and infection prevention and control (IPC) of Pandemic and Epidemic Diseases, including disease-specific treatment. Also contribute to Regional, national and local adaptation of WHO standards.
- Conduct national and international training courses/workshops on clinical management and IPC in the relevant area, complying WHO standards and materials and promote and advocate WHO work in the Region in the area of epidemic clinical management.
- Actively participate WHO Epidemic Disease Clinical Assessment and Response Network (EDCARN) by playing the role as Regional Hub in communication and deployment to outbreak investigation and response.
- Contribute to shaping epidemic clinical management Research Agenda; facilitate, conduct and supervise relevant research, monitor research progress and report to WHO/EDCARN.
