This may inform recommendations of the Expert Committee for the Selection and Use of Essential Medicines, primarily (but not exclusively) in the field of infectious diseases.

TOR 2 Implementation in countries - Assisting WHO in the development of implementation strategies to facilitate the prioritization and adoption of essential medicines based on best evidence synthesis and GRADE; developing and aligning medicine selection with guidelines and clinical practice recommendations, policies to support health care services and workforce, optimal service delivery and procurement.
