  1. Essential medicines - As requested by WHO, providing technical support and assisting in the development of sound essential medicine applications and evidence documents. This may inform recommendations of the Expert Committee for the Selection and Use of Essential Medicines, primarily (but not exclusively) in the field of infectious diseases.  
  2. TOR 2 Implementation in countries - Assisting WHO in the development of implementation strategies to facilitate the prioritization and adoption of essential medicines based on best evidence synthesis and GRADE; developing and aligning medicine selection with guidelines and clinical practice recommendations, policies to support health care services and workforce, optimal service delivery and procurement.

  4.4.3 - Knowledge management policies, tools, networks and resources developed and used by WHO and countries to strengthen their capacity to generate, share and apply knowledge
