- Under WHO’s leadership, contribute to the development of methods to assess and analyse community needs and demand for primary health care services with special reference to equity.
- Under WHO’s leadership, develop, review and document improved methods to assess the availability and quality of health services.
- Assist WHO by contributing to the development of methods and tools and curricula to assess and monitor health service/system preparedness and performance, including at the health facility level, with a focus on districts.
- At WHO's request, support WHO’s role in global analysis and monitoring of access to health services and contribute to scientific exchange and learning forums.
