Terms of Reference:
- At WHO’s request and in coordination with WHO, provide technical inputs for the development of technical specifications for priority medical devices and essential in vitro diagnostics
- Upon WHO’s request, providing technical assistance that may inform the development of the WHO international classification and nomenclature of medical devices
- Providing technical support in the biomedical equipment maintenance programmes as requested by WHO
- Undertake, under WHO’s guidance, health technology assessments of medical devices
- Upon WHO’s request, participate and develop assessments of innovative technologies
- Under WHO’s guidance, undertake a list of medical devices for primary health care
