  1. Support WHO through the study of governance and practices of cities/local governments to cope with and recover from COVID-19, to further strengthen preparedness for the diseases in urban settings 
  2. Work with WHO to identify good practices of Healthy Cities to monitor progress towards SDGs 
  3. Support WHO in strengthening research of urban health and policy in alignment with WHO's framework for urban health 
  4. Collaborate with cities/local governments to strengthen the role of the Alliance for Healthy Cities to meet needs of cities/local governments and support adaptation, adoption, and implementation of good practices in urban governance
