  1. To assist WHO to conduct and support epidemiologic studies that may inform WHO’s efforts towards the development and improvement of strategies for optimal safety and effectiveness of vaccines, with emphasis on vaccines against respiratory illnesses. 
  2. Upon WHO’s request to support WHO’s activities related to the implementation and monitoring of the Immunization Agenda 2030 (IA2030) strategy.
