- Under WHO leadership, conduct collaborative research to evaluate interventions to improve maternal, newborn and child health, growth and neurodevelopment
- Under WHO leadership, support implementation research and scale up of efficacious interventions and effective programs by designing innovative delivery strategies to improve delivery, coverage, quality and impact
- At the request of WHO, provide support in data analytics on risk stratification based on anthropometric parameters to improve research capacity in developing countries
