  1. At the request of WHO and PAHO the proposed institution will provide technical expertise and content knowledge in support of WHO and PAHO initiatives to protect health workers. 
  2. Per the request of PAHO/WHO, the proposed institution will assist and support PAHO/WHO in creating a healthy and safe workplace for all PAHO/WHO employees in the Americas. 
  3. In support of PAHO/WHO, the proposed institution will support capacity building and networking in occupational hygiene for improving diagnoses of occupational diseases in the Americas.
