Terms of Reference:
  1. To inform WHO's work, as and when appropriate, in the development and field testing of guidelines, standards programme implementation tools and training materials for management and quality of care improvement for children at primary and hospital level 
  2. To assist WHO in supporting countries in the introduction, local adaptation and implementation of WHO policies, strategies, guidelines, programme and quality of care improvement implementation tools for neonatal and child health programmes.  
  3. To support WHO's work to enhance capacity and capability for monitoring, reporting, surveillance and research on key national priorities in child health including major causes of neonatal mortality, common childhood infectious and non-communicable diseases, vaccine preventable diseases and causes of long term childhood morbidity.
