Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

Inclusion Criteria:

- Indication for total thyroidectomy

Exclusion Criteria:

- parathyroid disorders, chronic kidney disease (eGFR< 60 ml/min), treatment with
antiosteoporosis drugs, rheumatic disease and history of long term (>1 month) or
current corticosteroid use
