I came to field of health after stroke attacked my grandmother. Then I decided to do research on NCDs in MPH and will continue further in a doctoral degree. The cost and psychological trauma it causes to patients and their relatives should be focused on. The inter-sectoral roles will make NCD prevention and healthy living possible for developing countries. Now I see to it that my mother, who is hypertensive, takes up walking and dietary salt reduction.
