NCDs are everybody's business – they strike us all: Ourselves, friends, family. I'm no exception. Tobacco killed my dad. My grandmother has dementia. My mother is a cancer survivor. Thanks to the Danish health and welfare system she was able to get the treatment that saved her life, without financial ruin. I’m appalled by how millions of people are denied their right to health, and how tobacco, alcohol, junk food, air pollution, and lack of opportunities to be physically active undermine our chances of long healthy lives. You Too are affected. Tell your story.
