My son Drew was diagnosed with Stage IV rhabdomyosarcoma of the prostate when he was 18 years old. I am grateful that people will never have heard of this childhood cancer. Learning of this diagnosis was devastating. He died just before being accepted in the second round of a research protocol. I would like this story to call attention to the importance of funding for childhood cancer research. Our children need legislators to advocate for increased childhood cancer research funding!
