I came to share my story because I'm frustrated. My frustration is twofold. It’s cheaper lots of times to buy unhealthy food than healthy food. The other is that it’s much easier to buy unhealthy food because the advertisements are unreliable they target vulnerable populations like mothers who don’t have time to prepare food or children. The whole food industry seems like it’s focused on making you a worker who doesn’t have much time to make an informed decision. Buy the cheapest, fastest, easiest food and drink possible in the most beautiful package (that is also harmful to the environment) - it seems there’s no will to change that. I would like to see responsible advertisements from food and beverage industries and governance via public institutions to control that.
