I have family members affected by NCDs. My mom has diabetes and high blood pressure. She migrated to the USA with her brother who is a pharmacist. I suffer from poor nutrition and have high cholesterol due to the types of food I can afford. I was given some medication at a local clinic but stopped taking it a long time ago because it made me feel ill. I have learned to manage with natural remedies and live a carefree life on a daily basis.
