Framework for implementing the Global Technical Strategy for Malaria 2016–2030 in the African region: report of the Secretariat Regional committee for Africa, 66 (2016, AFR/RC66/14)1. Malaria control in the WHO African Region has recorded progress, with a 42% reduction in case incidence and a 66% decline in the mortality rate between 2000 and 2015.
