AbstractIssues a series of landmark statements on the classification, prevalence, etiology, and treatment of childhood disorders of mental health and psychosocial development. The report also serves to focus attention on child mental health in developing countries, arguing that the psychosocial problems of children in these countries demand serious consideration. The main part of the report provides specific recommendations on key preventive measures and sets out four different categories of measures for treatment
