Abstract
A discussion of the functions, organization, and management of national health development networks designed to aid the systematic solving of problems by bringing together the scattered expertise of individuals and institutions. Information is based on the experiences of countries that have put this concept into practice and developed permanent machinery for uniting institutions from within and outside the health sector to support the development of primary health care
