Abstract
Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) has significantly helped in early diagnosisand commencement of specific interventions for diseases control. It also playsa critical role in understanding the disease epidemiology and unraveling thetransmission dynamics of the disease. This manual intends to provide primaryguidelines to assist health lab personnel in developing countries to establisha PCR diagnostic facility for efficient support to patient care as well as publichealth actions.Citation
