Tobacco control: an advocacy strategy for resource mobilization: (2010-2015)

Abstract
This strategy sets out the objectives and priority activities for resource mobilization for 2010-2011 to ensure effective implementation of the Strategic Action Plan for Tobacco Control in South-East Asia Region. It provides strategic approaches and guidance on the major steps for resource mobilization highlighting the process of assessment for resource requirement and the potential for raising it; analysis of donor intelligence, building alliance and carrying out advocacy. It emphasizes on the need to diversify funding sources for sustainable financing to the programme and also on the importance of realistic programme development and management of resources.Citation
