The magic of DOTS

Abstract

The story in this book deals with a tuberculosis (‎TB )‎ patient. Once day, Chehek is absent from school. Her class friends missing her are trying to find out why. They find her at home taking care of her mother who is suffering from TB and going to die. The children are desperate, until Mishti fairy appears to one of them, telling the good news that TB is curable. The children do not hesitate to explore more, they go to the dispensary and learn more about TB and its treatment. They go immediately back to Chehek and convince her mother to go to the dispensary.
