SEA/RC67/25 Rev.1 - Review of the draft provisional agenda of the 136th session of the WHO Executive Board
AbstractThe 136th Session of the WHO Executive Board will be held at WHO headquarters in Geneva from 26 January to 3 February 2015. Any proposal from a Member State or Associate Member to include an item on the Agenda should reach the Director-General not later than 12 weeks after circulation of the Draft Provisional Agenda or 10 weeks before the commencement of the session of the Executive Board, whichever is earlier. The proposals should, therefore, reach the Director-General by 5 September 2015.The High-Level Preparatory (HLP) Meeting reviewed the Draft Provisional Agenda of the 136th Session of the WHO Executive Board and made the following recommendations :Actions by Member States(1)Bangladesh to take the lead in proposing the inclusion of TB and HIV under Agenda item 9.(2)Member States to submit any other proposed Agenda items for the 136th Session of the Executive Board before 5 September 2014.Action by the WHO Regional Office(1)The Regional Office should provide to Member States the contact details for forwarding any additional proposed Agenda item for the 136th Session of the Executive Board.The Draft Provisional Agenda for the 136th Session of the WHO Executive Board and the HLP recommendations are submitted to the Sixty-seventh Session of the Regional Committee for its consideration.
