The WHO Secretariat has invited Member States, Observers and non-State actors, to present proposals to organize Official Side Events during the Seventy-ninth World Health Assembly in May 2026 in Geneva. Applications were submitted in February 2026. Once the selection process is finalized, the list of selected events will be available on this page (second half of April 2026). The WHO Secretariat is not involved in organizing or financing the events. The process is sustained through a full cost recovery mechanism.
