Comments:
The absence of information in several major areas of pharmacological and toxicological importance made it impossible for the Committee to establish an ADI for propionylpromazine. This is regrettable because the Committee was aware that propionylpromazine is used in circumstances in which the consumer will be exposed to residues that may be capable of exerting a pharmacological effect.
