This report presents the results from fifth round of Myanmar Global Youth TobaccoSurvey (GYTS) (2016). The survey assesses indicators on tobacco use prevalence,tobacco cessation, exposure to secondhand smoke, access to and availability of tobaccoproducts, exposure to tobacco marketing and anti-tobacco messages, and knowledgeand attitudes towards tobacco use among 13-15 year old school going adolescents.The results provide a credible evidence base to review the impact of public healthpolicies and tobacco control interventions among Myanmar's youth. Policy makers,programme managers, researchers, tobacco control advocates and other relevantstakeholders will find the report useful to inform their work on tobacco controlespecially among youth.Citação
