Kurzdarstellung
A massive earthquake shook India's Gujarat state in January 2001. It affected not only the population but also the health facilities. The district hospitals, community health centres, primary health centres, sub-centres and thousands of Anganwadi centres in the affected districts were either entirely destroyed or damaged and rendered nonfunctional. Health professionals in the worst-affected districts were themselves suffering from trauma and injuries.Zitat
