- •Develop educational materials for use in Southern Africa and around the world.
- •Work with the University of Texas to translate educational materials for Latin America.
- •Provide graduate level training to both students and professionals in occupational health from SADC nations of Africa.
- •Undertake environmental health and occupational health research both at the university of Michigan and in SADC nations of Africa.
- Provide advisory services to the WHO and to PAHO on technical matters.
- Contribute as peer reviewers for WHO and PAHO occupational health documents.
- Actively participate in the WHO network with other WHO and PAHO entities and collaborating centres on projects to advance the Global Plan of Action on Workers Health.
- Assist WHO and PAHO in developing future WHO work plans.
