Terms of Reference:
- In consultation with PAHO, WHO, and WHO Member States, the Collaborating Centre on Tobacco Control Surveillance and Evaluation will provide technical support, as necessary and appropriate, in relation to:
1) Evaluation and research, aimed at:
a) Undertake research and evaluation for assessing WHO FCTC progress;
b) Supporting multi-country research studies; and,
c) Dissemination of research results and best practices for tobacco control
- 2) Capacity building, aimed at:
a) Advance leadership capacity to promote and advocate for tobacco control at all levels;
b) Strengthening national and local tobacco control technical capacities; and,
c) Promoting multi-sector, integrated approaches to tobacco control and national coordinating mechanisms.
