Terms of Reference:
- 1. To provide technical cooperation for the implementation of lymphatic filariasis elimination programs in the Americas & for surveillance in epidemiologic settings where control activities have ceased. 2. To provide technical cooperation for the development of epidemiological tools, training & assistance for the monitoring & evaluation of lymphatic filariasis elimination programs. 3. To maintain a data & reference repository for available knowledge on the distribution & geographic stratification of lymphatic filariasis in the Americas that will be jointly maintained & shared completely with WHO/CPE & WHO/AMRO & with its Member Countries. 4. To collaborate with Member Countries on operational research needed to enhance the effectiveness of control/elimination programs in the Region.
