Terms of Reference:
- 1. To develop appropriate epidemiological & laboratory methodology, including spatial epidemiology & risk assessment for new & emerging zoonoses. 2. To conduct research on molecular epidemiology of emerging zoonoses & evaluate appropriate sentienels in wildlife reservoir, domectic animals & in human populations. 3. To investigate pathogenesis of emerging zoonoses in animal models. 4. To educate veterinarians & other health professionals, especially from the Americas, in the use of new epidemiolgoical & diagnostic methods useful for conducting research & improving. 5. To develop a web site for the center.
