Terms of Reference:
  1. Objective of the TOR 1 is to develop, monitor and evaluate training programs targeting public health workforce for national and regional public health staff. There are two major activities proposed as below a) Developing a module and conducting training courses for mortality coders in automated mortality coding (IRIS) b) Country adaptation of ICD – 10 mortality coding guidelines in ICD – 10 – 2016 (05th Edition) and conducting training courses based on new guidelines  
  2. Objective of the TOR 2 is to conduct training programmes, for local and regional public health staff on following five areas. a) Application of GIS in decision making in Public Health b) NCD preventive care and management for middle level managers c) Research Training on NCD for young health care professionals of the region d) Public Health Legislation for public health officers e) Community health care management of primary care for middle level managers  
  3. Objective of the TOR 3 is to build advocacy for strengthening the public health workforce and only one major activity is proposed as below. a) Organize and conduct advocacy sessions on important and timely public health themes on reaching SDG3 & UHC for the public health workforce of Sri Lanka and the region

  4.4.3 - Knowledge management policies, tools, networks and resources developed and used by WHO and countries to strengthen their capacity to generate, share and apply knowledge
