Terms of Reference:
- To promote communications and information exchange in the field of Traditional MedicineIComplementary and Alternative Medicine (TMICAM) through maintaining
and updating the Centre's database of TMICAM.
- To promote research, particularly of clinical study of TM/CAM through organizing training programmes/workshops/symposiums on research approaches and evaluation of TMICAM.
- To develop principal and appropriate methodology for clinical research and evaluation of safety and efficacy of TM/CAM, through cooperation with WHO and other research institutions worldwide.
- To engage in international collaborative efforts, and to provide consultation relative to CAM research and training, upon the request of WHO.
