Terms of Reference:
- To conduct basic and applied malaria research to support malaria control activities particularly for entomology and vector control measures in order to reduce transmission risks.
- To contribute the development of human resources including training and continued education for malaria research and control at national, regional and extra regional level.
- To conduct studies on malaria diagnostic tools and anti-malarial drugs including traditional medicine particularly on drug efficacy, drug resistance, assessment, evaluation and quality assurance.
- To expand technical assistance and cooperation in malaria research to institutions, non-governmental organizations and WHO member countries as needed.
