- In cooperation with the Institute of Natural Medicine, University of Toyama,
1. To contribute to WHO’s efforts to develop WHO global stratgey for traditional medicine and to advocate and implement the Regional Strategy for Traditional Medicine in the Western Pacific (2011-2020);
- 2. To assist and support WHO in developing appropriate methodology for validation of the efficacy and safety of traditional medicine;
- 3. To support WHO’s efforts to strengthen human resources on traditional medicine in national and regional levels;
- 4. To assist WHO to promote information exchange and collaboration on traditional medicine.
