Terms of Reference:
  1. Expanding External Quality Assessment Scheme in EMR countries in order to improve the quality of laboratory procedures  
  2. Providing technical expertise using integrated accessible scientific resources to hold tailor- made training courses, workshops and consultation for the EMR member states and also other Farsi language countries on the specified areas such as Laboratory Standards, Quality Management System requirements, EQAS 
  3. Outreaching to EMR countries for supporting and offering assistance for establishing regional laboratory standards in accordance with published WHO manual 
  4. Sharing the knowledge and experience for ensuring the quality of IVDs in pre- and post- marketing phase in EMR Countries 
  5. Furthering National establishing of Biosafety Requirements and Biorisk management in line with IHR  
  6. Joining all related regional and international laboratory networks and acting as an active member in promoting the quality of laboratory services and improving the global health 
  7. Highlighting the importance of non-communicable diseases in RHL programming with focus on Diabetes and Cancer Control Programs
