- To assist WHO in addressing the economic and social determinants of health through the development of actions directed at populations in situations of vulnerability, in view to promote equity;
- To assist WHO with the expansion of evidence of the effectiveness at the impact and outcome levels of health promotion interventions and implementation of multisectoral public policies;
- To collaborate with other WHO Collaborating Centers in the WHOCC network coordinated by WHO, so as to strengthen the networks between countries and to promote the exchange of experiences.
