Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals of both sexes
Adults aged at least 20 years
Individuals who performed the activity of typing during your workday
Pain complaints in the wrist joint, carpal and metacarpal
Pain intensity from grade
Exclusion criteria: Rheumatic diseases
In treating inflammatory diseases
In use of analgesic drugs and / or inflammatory
Age above 50 years
Age minimum:
20Y

Intervention(s)
|
We evaluated 23 subjects who had pain in the wrist, carpal and metacarpal. Initially between the months of August to November 2011, we performed a clinical assessment, which evaluated complaints of pain and limit movement. After were done on the same day to the affected limb ultrasonography and thermography of both hands.

Primary Outcome(s)
|
|
Assessment of pain and inflammation using thermography in individuals suffering from RSI / WMSD measured by average temperatures in the region of pain. It is expected that the mean highest temperature present at the site of pain.

Secondary Outcome(s)
|
|
Increase in the values of the mean difference, absolute and average temperature in the region with pain.
