Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria:

- All patients scheduled for elective PD,

- Confirmation of the soft pancreas or nondilated pancreatic duct during PD.

Exclusion criteria:

- Age less than 18 year,

- Emergency surgery,

- Previous pancreatic surgery,

- Previous susmesocolic radiotherapy.
