The aim of the educational program was improving mental health and coping mechanisms among adolescents living in orphanages. During the program, it was tried to help participants to decrease depression, anxiety and stress and increase their self-esteem.3.13 The program was also designed to improve their ability to cope with stressful situations. The educational program was provided in multi-method activates such as: group-dissuasion, role play, question and answer, game and watching movies. The intervention module was developed based on WHO program on Life skills education through a process of consultation with a group of experts in the study field and according to WHO and UNICEF recommendation of teaching life skills.Overall, 20 activities were developed for intervention sessions. This module was designed as a trainer guideline and participants did not have access to it. The main pictures of the booklet were designed by a children and adolescents book designer, specifically for the study’s module. For the last session of intervention program, one movie section was designed that targeted the coping mechanism. ,Participants in control group received 2 sessions (each one hour) Dengue control program (COMBI) the same as participants in intervention group after pre-test. The pre-, post- and follow-up tests were done for control group just the same as intervention group. Each participant received small gifts before doing pre-test and follow-up tests.
