Key inclusion & exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Aged 18-80 years
A history of lumbosacral radicular pain greater than 6-month period
Unsatisfactory pain control with oral pharmacotherapy, physical therapy or previous ESI
No indication for surgery

Exclusion criteria: Allergic to local anesthetics, contrast media, triamcinolone
Evidence of significant neurological deficit
Coagulopathy
Malignant disease
Pregnancy
Psychological problems
Language barrier


Age minimum: 18 Years
Age maximum: 80 Years
Gender: Both

The patent who have suffered from L5-S1 spinal stenosis with S1 radicular pain,10 patients per group
L5-S1 spinal stenosis ,S1 radicular pain,epidural steroid injection

Retrodiscal steroid injection technique is injection technique that the steroid is injected at behind to disc space ,Transforaminal epidural steroid injection technique is injection technique that the steroid is injected at S1 foramen

Significant pain relief 2 weeks,2 months,3months 50% decreased visual analog scale from baseline
