Key inclusion & exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: pregnant women who have preterm labor at 25-34 weeks of gestation and delivery at Phramongkutklao Hospital
Exclusion criteria: pregnant women who have multiple gestations, prenatal diagnosis of fetal major congenital anomalies, a plan to withhold neonatal resuscitation, placental previa or abruption with active bleeding, and those who refuse to participate in the study. The pregnant women are also excluded if the obstetrician denies performing the procedures in the study

umbilical cord will be clamped at 60 seconds after birth,about 30 centimeters of umbilical cord will be vigorously milked toward the umbilicus three to four times before clamping the cord
