Experimental group and control: 10 individuals, men and women. The groups will participate in the training at different times of the study and in the non-training phase they will carry out a pre-oriented home education booklet. The protocol of exercises will combine exercises isotonic (two sets of 10 repetitions) and isometric (two sets of 8 repetitions with 5 seconds of isometric contraction) for the following movements of the upper limbs: abduction and shoulder adduction; Shoulder flexion and extension; Internal and external rotation of the shoulder; Elbow flexion and extension; Flexion and wrist extension. The patiente will be seated with the trunk supported by the chair backrest during the exercises. To carry out the resistance will be used elastics for the Elastos manufacturer of different colors with resistances that progress in seven levels. The inicial resistance will be defined through the 10 maximum repetitions and during the intervention will be more three adjusts of resistance. It will be applied for two months, twice a week. The duration of the session will be on average 1 hour.
Primary Outcome(s)
It is believed that the application of the progressive strengthening protocol will contribute to the improvement of the muscular strength reflected in the functional improvement of the Upper Limbs that can be observed in the following instruments: Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS), Parkinson's Disease Questionnaire (PDQ-39), Test d’Evaluation des Membres Supérieurs de Personnes Âgées (TEMPA), 9-Hole Peg Test (9HPT) and Dynamometer Manual - Jamar®.
Secondary Outcome(s)
Correlate variables at post-intervention time: UPDRS, sessions II and III, PDQ-39, TEMPA, 9HPT and manual dynamometry
